For the First Time Ever: Voices of Children Brings Together Alumni of All Its Arts Residencies
For six days in August, a bar appeared in the Carpathians where you paid for tea not with money, but with leaves from the trees. Nearby, teenagers flew kites against the mountain backdrop, while every evening brought live music. This was the Youth Retreat — a major gathering that brought together alumni of the Voices of Children Foundation’s arts labs from across Ukraine. Each of these teenagers had previously taken part in one of our creative residencies. This time, for the first time, they all came together in one place.

The Thread Exhibition Travels Across Ukraine Through Ukrposhta Branches
The photo exhibition Thread: Transformation Rather than Brokenness has set off on a journey across Ukraine. Fifteen portraits and fifteen stories of children whose lives have been changed by the full-scale war launched by Russia will now be displayed at the main post offices of nine cities — from Sloviansk to Kherson. A joint project by the Voices of Children Charitable Foundation and photographer Marta Syrko is traveling from city to city with logistical support from Ukrposhta, helping more people hear these children’s stories.

Kormotech Allocates Over $128,000 to Psychological Support for Ukrainian Children and Families in Partnership with Voices of Children
Thanks to the partnership between Kormotech and the Voices of Children Charitable Foundation, more than a thousand children and adults have received psychological and psychosocial support at the Foundation’s center in Lviv. Since May 21, 2024, the company has contributed more than $128,000 to support the center’s work. Kormotech continues its partnership with the Voices of Children Charitable Foundation by supporting the operation of its Lviv center.

One Year of the Voices of Children Hub in Truskavets: A Space for Children in a Community That Has Welcomed 14,000 IDPs
On February 23, 2022, psychologist Antonina Sorochynska and Voices of Children co-founder Olena Rozvadovska were sitting in a café in Truskavets. They were discussing how they would provide crisis support to people evacuating from the east of Ukraine to temporary accommodation centers. At the time, it seemed there was still plenty of time to prepare. The very next morning, Russia’s full-scale invasion began, and the plan had to be put into action immediately.

Olena Zelenska and Antytila Band Meet Children at Voices Camp
First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska visited our Voices Camp together with the team from the Olena Zelenska Foundation and the Minister of Education of Ukraine, Andrii Butenko. They were joined by the Ukrainian band Antytila, who performed a concert for 112 children and the camp team.
