Suspilne and Voices of Children Launch Fundraiser to Provide Psychological Support for Children Affected by the War

Suspilne Ukraine, in partnership with the Voices of Children Charitable Foundation, has launched a fundraising campaign to provide psychological support for Ukrainian children affected by the war, as part of Ukraine’s National Selection for Junior Eurovision 2025.

Thanks to the fundraiser, the Voices of Children Foundation will be able to provide professional psychological support to children either at one of the centers located near the front line or through a mobile team of psychologists.
Ukrainian National Selection for Junior Eurovision is a social project designed to support children, bring them joy, and open new opportunities. Unfortunately, because of Russia’s full-scale invasion, countless Ukrainian children are suffering. In particular, the war has a severe psychological impact on children. Air raid alarms, shelling, explosions, the loss of their loved ones—this is what Ukrainian children are forced to face. That is why psychological support and rehabilitation are an extremely important focus of this fundraiser. Together with the Voices of Children Foundation, we are launching this campaign and hope that during this Junior Eurovision season, we will raise donations to help improve the psychological well-being of as many children as possible,
emphasized Oksana Skybinska, Head of Delegation of Ukraine at Eurovision and Junior Eurovision.
The fundraiser was launched to mark Independence Day of Ukraine.
We believe that psychological support must be with children in every aspect of their lives—whether in their daily routines overshadowed by war, or on the big stage of Junior Eurovision. For us at Voices of Children, it was important that the participants felt not only creative excitement but also inner strength. Our psychologists helped them cope with anxiety and stress so that, before going on stage, they could remain true to themselves—strong, sincere, and inspired. Because even when children step out to sing, they carry within them the experiences of war, air raid alarms, and loss. Our mission is to make sure that, on stage, the audience hears their strong, joyful voices,
said Azad Safarov, co-founder of the Voices of Children Foundation.

“Artur”: A Film About a Writer Who Gave Kindness a Voice
Three years ago, Artur Dron—a poet and veteran—created an Excel spreadsheet on his computer and called it “The Literary Million.” That was the amount, in hryvnias, he dreamed of raising to support children through our Foundation. Eventually, the file had to be renamed: the number in it was growing faster than the title could keep up with the story.
“I Feel Like I’m at Home Here”: How Voices of Children Psychologists Supported Children in April and May
"I feel so good here. It feels like home!" — this is how eight-year-old Aniuta described her sessions at the Voices of Children center in Kropyvnytskyi.
