Being a mother is never easy. Being a mother and the wife of a soldier—means living in a constant struggle with anxiety, exhaustion, and the weight of responsibility carried alone.
This Mother’s Day, we have launched a large-scale fundraiser to support those whose experience often goes unseen—the wives and children of Ukrainian defenders facing the immense challenges of war, loss, or captivity of a loved one.

The Voices of Children Foundation has launched a new wave of Camp+, our psychological healing program developed by our specialists and approved at the national level.
We aim to raise UAH 2,460,000 to help another 16 mothers and 22 children take this vital journey toward healing.

Camp+ is a 21-day retreat in a safe environment. The program offers individual and group therapy sessions, body-oriented practices, art therapy, and peer support—everything needed to gently restore a sense of inner balance.
The end of camp is just the beginning of the healing journey: women continue seeing psychologists, deepen new friendships, and find solidarity within a growing community of others who understand their journey.
The program was developed by Voices of Children experts and has been officially approved at the national level in Ukraine as a best practice for working with families affected by loss, trauma, or forced displacement.

In 2024 alone, dozens of families have already completed Camp+, with 77% of mothers reporting improved emotional well-being after participating.
Yet demand continues to grow, and our own resources aren’t enough to meet it. This is why we are launching this fundraiser—so we can support families who need help right now.
The funds raised will allow us to run a new Camp+ session, with a total of 64 adults and 88 children expected to benefit this year.
