The Voices of Children Charitable Foundation continues to help families with children across Ukraine by providing them with humanitarian, psychological, rehabilitation and advocacy support.
As of September 2023, the organisation has
- 162 professionals in the team, including 76 psychologists and leisure specialists;
- 13 locations in Kyiv, Lviv, Truskavets, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kryvyi Rih, Vysoke, Kharkiv, Ternopil, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv and Mykolaiv, where our psychologists work on a regular basis;
- More than 6.3 thousand children and parents who have received help and support from the Foundation.
In total, we spent UAH 29,045,392 on all programs over three months.
During this time, the Voices of Children team conducted 1081 individual and 225 group psychological sessions with children, as well as 893 psychosocial support sessions (art therapy, fairy tale therapy, rhythm therapy, film clubs, quests, etc.)
The foundation's team also organised two camps for families with children affected by traumatic events due to the war, under its own Camp+ programme of family recovery and self-help. A total of 33 families, including 45 children, took part in the programme.
The effectiveness of the Camp+ programme was confirmed by the Academic Council of the Ukrainian Scientific and Methodological Centre for Practical Psychology and Social Work. On 27 September, the programme was approved and recommended for publication by the Council.
In September, Olena Rozvadovska, Chairman of the Board of the Foundation, took part in the event “Fighting for the Future: Ukrainian Children in War”, organised on the sidelines of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly. The event highlighted various aspects of Russia's violations of international humanitarian, human rights and criminal law, as well as the practice of forcible transfer, deportation, adoption of Ukrainian children and imposition of Russian citizenship on them.
