Kormotech Allocates Over $128,000 to Psychological Support for Ukrainian Children and Families in Partnership with Voices of Children

Thanks to the partnership between Kormotech and the Voices of Children Charitable Foundation, more than a thousand children and adults have received psychological and psychosocial support at the Foundation’s center in Lviv. Since May 21, 2024, the company has contributed more than $128,000 to support the center’s work. Kormotech continues its partnership with the Voices of Children Charitable Foundation by supporting the operation of its Lviv center.

Voices Camp wraps up its summer season: 448 children attended camp in western Ukraine

The last buses will soon set off from the Carpathians for cities across the country. But shared group chats, camp photos, and promises to meet again will remain on the participants' phones. Voices Camp has completed its third consecutive season, with the support of and in partnership with the Olena Zelenska Foundation. This summer, the Voices of Children foundation ran eight sessions for 448 children affected by the war.

First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska visited our Voices Camp together with the team from the Olena Zelenska Foundation and the Minister of Education of Ukraine, Andrii Butenko. They were joined by the Ukrainian band Antytila, who performed a concert for 112 children and the camp team.

Partnership on the Rails: Voices of Children Posters Appear on Ukrzaliznytsia Trains for the First Time

From June till the end of July, passengers on long-distance trains will see 400 new Voices of Children posters in train carriages. There, the Foundation’s psychologists Anna and Yana, together with their sons, demonstratesimple exercises that can help children and adults regain a sense of calm. The idea is to make emotional regulation and self-care skills a natural part of Ukrainian families’ everyday lives. Our goal is for as many people as possible to learn them.

The city continues to endure daily shelling, which has, tragically, become part of everyday life. To help ease the daily challenges faced by families in the frontline Kherson region, the Kherson NGO “Journalists’ Association ‘AlternatyvA’” implemented the project “Rapid Winter Response for Ukrainian Children and Families” with the support of the Voices of Children Foundation and funding from ERIKS.

“Mom Says the Most Important Thing Is Not to Lose Our Smile”: #VoicesOfChildren Flash Mob Marking the Fourth Anniversary of the Full-Scale War

On the eve of the fourth anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion, dozens of Ukrainian companies, organizations, public figures, and caring citizens joined a flash mob organized by the Voices of Children Foundation. They printed posters featuring children’s quotes about war, hope, and dignity; took photos with them and shared them on social media using the hashtag #VoicesOfChildren.

From November 19 to 21, the Olena Zelenska Foundation and the Voices of Children Foundation held a training for the teams that will launch the first “12-21” youth spaces in communities across Ukraine. Three days of intensive work brought together specialists from different cities around a shared goal: to learn how to create a safe environment, an atmosphere of trust, warmth, and acceptance for adolescents and young people.
