The Voices Children Foundation took part in the meeting of the Coordination Center for Mental Health of Kyivans

On August 18, the first meeting of the Coordination Center for Mental Health of the City of Kyiv* was held. The state of mental health of Ukrainians during the full-scale war in Ukraine, in particular the people of Kyiv was discussed there.
The first meeting was attended by more than 25 public organizations that provide services in the field of mental health, in particular, representatives of the Voices of Children Foundation - co-founder Olena Rozvadovska and head of the department for work with partners Nina Vasilchenko. The results of the work of the center's participants will help to improve the existing services of psychological assistance and promote the launch of new ones, as well as bring the improvement of the system of psychosocial support for Kyivans closer.
"In fact, since the beginning of the armed invasion and then the full-scale war in Ukraine, we have been providing psychological and psychosocial assistance to children. We are consistently developing our expertise and the team's ability to be present throughout Ukraine.
Currently, we have 14 locations across the country, where our specialists work both stationary and in the format of mobile teams. Therefore, it is a good opportunity for us to be in a working group together with colleagues and representatives of the state, as well as to jointly participate in the development of programs for psychological and psychosocial assistance to children in Ukraine.
We are interested in comprehensive cooperation to improve the mental health of Ukrainians," said Olena Rozvadovska, head of the board of the Voices of Children Foundation.

Since the deoccupation of the Kyiv region, 498 children and 314 adults have received help from psychologists of the Foundation. The number of people who need professional help in maintaining their mental health is increasing every time.
* The Coordination Center for Mental Health was created by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to coordinate efforts and ensure the cooperation of ministries, institutions and organizations, local self-government bodies, the non-governmental sector, international partners and donors, the expert and scientific community in the development and implementation of the All-Ukrainian mental health program “How are you?" on the initiative of Olena Zelenska. “Artur”: A Film About a Writer Who Gave Kindness a Voice
Three years ago, Artur Dron—a poet and veteran—created an Excel spreadsheet on his computer and called it “The Literary Million.” That was the amount, in hryvnias, he dreamed of raising to support children through our Foundation. Eventually, the file had to be renamed: the number in it was growing faster than the title could keep up with the story.
25,000 Stories of Support Through Teenagers’ Eyes: Annual Report of Voices of Children for 2025
For Voices of Children, every annual report is an opportunity to look back, take stock of what we have achieved, and thank everyone who has stood alongside children. That is how the Foundation’s Chair of the Board, Olena Rozvadovska, describes the purpose of these pages. The 2025 report was created together with teenagers who took part in our art labs. They conducted real interviews with the Foundation’s team members, asking about their daily work, challenges, and what inspires them.
“I’m Falling Apart Emotionally”: What Children and Parents Bring to Online Psychologists During Wartime
The Voices of Children Foundation’s online psychological support helpline receives requests every day from children and parents across Ukraine and abroad. Anxiety and sleep disorders, loss of appetite, self-harm, and burnout among mothers — chronic stress gradually wears down mental health. The first signs often appear through physical symptoms, leading families to seek help from pediatricians or gastroenterologists before realizing that the root cause may be psychological and emotional strain.
