About the fundraiser
War takes away children’s stability, safety, and the childhood they once knew. That’s why the Voices of Children team has been by their side for ten years: in frontline cities, remote communities, and online. To keep this support steady and consistent, we need your help.
This winter holiday season, we are launching the campaign “What If the Patronus Is Actually You?” to bring our community of supporters together and help Ukrainian children who have lived through traumatic experiences of the war, lost their loved ones, and now need ongoing support and care.
The image of a Patronus, a light that overcomes fear, resonates deeply with children living through blackouts, explosions, and constant anxiety. But in real life, this protection doesn’t come from magic. In children’s lives, it’s adults who take on the role of the Patronus: parents, teachers, psychologists.
And each of us can become a Patronus too by supporting Ukrainian children with regular donations.
Your contribution provides psychological support to children in frontline communities and online, gives them safe spaces to grow, healing camps, and arts programs. It enables families of Ukraine’s defenders and those in crisis to receive essential assistance, and helps schools and communities access the resources needed to provide support that is both available and effective across the country.
This winter, we’re focusing our efforts on ensuring that support is steady.
So that children know there are caring adults they can rely on at any moment.
Regular donations* allow us to plan the work of regional centers, mobile teams, and online sessions more effectively and to expand our programs with confidence.
A one-time donation strengthens our work at the moments when it’s needed most and helps us respond quickly to the urgent needs of children and families.
Our goal: 1,000 Patronuses and $60,000 together with one-time donations.
