The Voices of Children Foundation welcomed First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska and UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs Yvette Cooper to its center in Kyiv. The discussion focused on one of the most painful issues—how to bring children back from the temporarily occupied regions and how to support them after their return. The First Lady emphasized the importance of systematic work: documenting cases, strengthening international cooperation, and providing continued support to families after reunification.

On February 19, the Voices of Children Charitable Foundation, together with Marta Syrko and the Kyiv History Museum, opened the exhibition “Thread: Transformation Rather Than Brokenness.” At the heart of the exhibition are 15 portraits of children and teenagers, along with their personal stories. The exhibition runs from February 20 to March 1, 2026.

On December 5, two parallel events took place in The Hague as part of the 24th Assembly of States Parties to the International Criminal Court. At both panels, the voices of Ukrainian children and experts about violence, deportation, and the fight for justice were heard. Liza, supported by our Foundation, and Alla Perfetska, advocacy coordinator, represented Voices of Children.

On October 28, a press conference took place at the Aviation Training Hangar of the Kyiv Aviation Institute, now home to the State Aviation Museum. The event brought together members of the aviation community and journalists to share an incredible story. 16-year-old Sofiia built a model of the destroyed AN-225 Mriya (that symbolically means “dream” in Ukrainian). This model has now become a symbol of a large-scale charity fundraiser to support children living in frontline areas.
