Danylo: The puppies lost their moms

20.11.2020
Danylo is 12 years old. He lives in the frontline town Svitlodarsk in Eastern Ukraine.

Danylo knows the names of all the homeless dogs in his town – Jack, Chernysh, Vorobei …

And gives nicknames to those, who haven’t one.

There are a lot of stray dogs in the town, because due to war the owners left their pets and went away.

So Danylo buys them food from his pocket money and feeds them.

The boy has a dream – to open a shelter for dogs.

“So that no dog is hungry,”
he says.
His full story unfolds in the video.
