Hello! I’m Sofiia Tkachuk, Miss Universe Ukraine 2025. Today, I invite you to take part in a cause that is deeply important to me—supporting children affected by the war.
Our goal is to raise $4,200 to support the construction and furnishing of the Childhood Center—a first-of-its-kind space in Ukraine providing year-round, comprehensive psychological and psychosocial rehabilitation for families impacted by the war.
The Center will open in the Kyiv region and become a safe space where children and their parents can begin to heal after traumatic experiences. Its programs follow a three-level model: body, emotions, and mind — combining body-based practices, art therapy, sensory integration, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). Each year, over 1,000 children and their parents will take part in recovery programs lasting up to 21 days.
Russia’s aggression has taken away the normal, safe lives of our children. But together, we can help them believe in themselves again and feel that they are not alone.

Note: the fundraiser initially launched by Miss Universe Ukraine was aimed at financing camps for children affected by the war. However, other donors have already fully covered that need. Therefore, the funds raised through this campaign will now be directed toward supporting the construction and furnishing of the Childhood Center.
