On August 7, the branch in Chernihiv opened in its own space. More than 50 children and parents came to the opening.
For six months, the team in Chernihiv worked in the premises of the city's schools. From now on, we have our own space with equipped rooms for individual and group therapy, we have attracted even more psychologists, camp and extracurricular specialists.
"Every Ukrainian child is a person. Children should not be left alone with the experience of war. Our goal is to help them smile again and have a real childhood," said Maryna Fateieva, the team leader of the branch, at the opening ceremony.
At the same time, the first shift of the Chernihiv camp "Across the Universe" was launched. It is actively carried out in other branches of the Foundation.The children started the day with quests and a psychological group, received their own branded bottles and backpacks for things. Even power outages due to bad weather did not spoil their mood.
“We've had our lights turned off, but we're superheroes, so we're not afraid,” the kids laughed.
Despite the record-breaking heat, the team prepared for the opening in time
“It's hard to call it a job. When I saw how psychologists and organizers work here, I realized that this is a big family," shared her impressions Svitlana, a camp medic.
