For the past two years, the French video game company Ubisoft and its Ukrainian studios have been working in partnership with our Foundation to support Ukrainian children affected by the war. Together, we are helping families in frontline-adjacent areas and creating safe spaces for education and growth.
2023: Supporting Families in the Kherson Region
Last year, together with Ubisoft, we concentrated our efforts on supporting families in the liberated communities of the Kherson region. Many villages were left without access to essential resources, and local shops remained closed due to logistical difficulties. With financial support from Ubisoft, we carried out a humanitarian project valued at 462,400 UAH, which allowed us to provide vital hygiene supplies and other basic necessities.
Furthermore, the areas surrounding Kherson's villages remain heavily mined, forcing parents to keep their children indoors and limiting outdoor activities. To address this issue, we supplied books and board games to individual families and bomb shelters, giving children constructive and engaging ways to spend their time during these difficult circumstances.
2024: Educational Initiative in the Kharkiv Region
This year, Ubisoft’s Ukraine studios joined forces with the "Voices of Children" Foundation and the Liubotyn City Council in the Kharkiv region to enhance educational opportunities for over 400 children.
Thanks to a generous contribution of 200,000 UAH from Ubisoft, we provided seven laptops and three multifunctional color printers for the bomb shelter at Kindergarten No. 2 in Liubotyn. This facility now supports children from three local schools.
With these modern educational tools, teachers can now deliver interactive online lessons. Children, in turn, are not only gaining valuable knowledge but also engaging in a wide range of cultural and educational activities.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ubisoft for their support and for opening new doors of opportunity for Ukrainian children!
