As part of the Community Connections Campaign (CCC) 2023, the “Voices of Children” Charitable Foundation has been chosen by the World Bank to receive support in 2023.
The CCC is the annual charitable assistance program of the World Bank, supporting the work of over 400 non-profit organizations worldwide focused on addressing inequality, poverty, and human development.
Thanks to the CCC, employees from all offices can contribute to the organizations they have chosen to collaborate with, and, in turn, the World Bank Group will match the donations collected. The campaign will run from November 1, 2023, to December 15, 2023.
"For us, this is a recognition and an opportunity to convey the mission of our foundation to all World Bank employees, as well as to receive support for the development of psychological assistance for the most vulnerable children and their families." Said Olena Rozvadovska, co-founder of the "Voices of Children" NGO.
"Our foundation has already offered assistance to over 64,000 children and their parents since the onset of the full-scale invasion. While the war has dramatically changed people's lives, we believe that, with you and with any help you can provide, we can bring back smiles, create moments of happiness, and instill hope in both children and their parents." Expressed Nina Vasilchenko, Head of Partnerships at the “Voices of Children” NGO.
The donations from the World Bank will be directed towards initiatives in the realms of psychological and individual humanitarian support within the “Voices of Children” NGO.
