On August 24, 2023, two new members joined the board of the Voices of Children Charitable Foundation: Head of Communications Olha Tymchenko and Head of Partnerships Nina Vasilchenko.
Nina and Olga joined the foundation's team after the full-scale invasion - at that time, our foundation was increasing its pace of work on a large scale every day, and we were looking for strong leaders who could build the foundation's communication and partnership departments from scratch.
Nina has 12 years of business experience. She says that she joined the foundation following the call of her heart: the day before, she had been working with a career coach and discovered a strong desire to work with children in the field of charity. That's why she calls her work at Voices of Children the perfect combination of all her professional aspirations. Nina also loves Marvel and DC, drives a car no worse than Dominic Toretto, and dreams of getting a dog.
Olha has 20 years of experience in communications, but in the months before the full-scale invasion, she decided to give up her office career for a quiet life as a children's writer in a picturesque village. When Voices of Children offered her a position as head of communications, she decided to return to Kyiv and become actively involved in the foundation's work. She brought two cats with her from the village - Shanti and Liri - who regularly come to our office and sleep on the desks of our communications colleagues.
“During the full-scale invasion, the challenges became so great that the expertise of Olga Tymchenko and Nina Vasilchenko proved to be extremely necessary to strengthen our work now. We will continue to develop our social campaigns, communication products, production, maintain relationships with donors, look for new partners abroad, and develop the foundation's programs. Now, with the renewed team, we will be able to develop our areas of work even more actively," said Olena Rozvadovska, co-founder and head of the foundation's board.
From now on, the "magnificent seven" of the Voices of Children Foundation's Board looks as follows:
- Azad Safarov, co-founder of the foundation
- Nataliya Tserklevych, program director;
- Nataliya Masiak, head of the Foundation's Center for Psychological Expertise;
- Andriy Chernousov, lawyer;
- Olha Tymchenko, Head of Communications;
- Nina Vasilchenko, Head of Partnerships.
Olena Rozvadovska, a co-founder of the foundation, chairs the board.
