On July 1, a branch of the Voices of Children Foundation was opened in Vysoke. Parents and children can receive free psychological individual and group help there. The branch team also conducts psychosocial, art therapy classes and master classes.
Since November 2022, a team of psychologists has been working in Vysoke on temporary locations. During this time, 45 groups of psychological support for children and parents were held there.
"In May, we got permanent premises. We prepared it and decided to make an official opening so that children and parents knew exactly where to get psychological support," said Alyona Chiryk, coordinator of the branch.
At the opening, the team held workshops for children of different ages and their parents.
"The room could barely fit all willing people. Parents attended classes with psychologists for the first time - they liked it. They never consulted psychologists at all. Those parents and children who visited us for the first time are already waiting for us to open registration for recruitment to the next groups," Alyona added.
