About the fundraiser

Ivanna Onufriichuk, Ukrainian TV host and founder of the IvAlive Foundation, has decided to dedicate her 40th birthday to a good cause. Instead of gifts, she has asked her guests to support Ukrainian children. The celebration will take place on July 8 in Lausanne, Switzerland. The fundraising goal is CHF 38,000 (approx. UAH 2.1 million).

"All my life, I have felt a deep love for children. Projects about them and for them strongly resonate with me, and I always try to support them. After my son was born, I began taking everything related to children even closer to heart. It's hard for me to imagine what it means to live through war as a child. That's why I wanted my birthday to become part of this story. We often think that big changes are made by someone else, by someone with more opportunities. But in reality, it all starts with the small decisions each of us makes," says Ivanna.

In over ten years of work, the Voices of Children Foundation has supported more than 170,000 children and parents affected by the war. One of them is Liza from the Kherson region. At 14, she and her family found themselves under Russian occupation. She lived through constant shelling and cared for dozens of animals the family had taken in. After Russian forces blew up the Kakhovka Dam and their neighbors lost their lives, the family decided to leave. The Foundation's psychologists supported Liza during the evacuation and helped her through a difficult period of adjustment.

You can join the fundraiser now. Every donation helps create a space where Ukrainian children and parents can receive long-term psychological support.
