This month we had great news — the film A House Made of Splinters, which was created with participation of the Voices of Children, has been nominated for an Oscar Award as the Best Documentary Feature! This is a film jointly produced by Ukraine, Denmark, Sweden and Finland directed by Simon Lereng Vilmont, which premiered at the 2022 Sundance festival. Azad Safarov, co-founder of the Foundation, became the line producer and second director of the film.
Besides, Voices of Children Charitable Foundation has participated in the creation of a free mobile application Nadiya (Hope) — a Quest for a Safer Place, which helps traumatized families regain strength to live a full life in difficult times. You can have fun in the bomb shelter, in the corridor, and just before going to bed. The game will teach you to calm down, be kind to yourself and others, have difficult conversations, and find hope even when it seems like there is none. You can download the application from the link.
